Oh god, this is difficult. I honestly don't listen to American music anymore, and if I do I just turn to whatever is playing on the radio. If you will count J-pop/J-rock bands, though, my favorite is the all girl band SCANDAL.

youkai, it's called bring me to life, not bring me BACK to life, but whatever, Evanescence is the shit, i love them.
Ummm, mine would probably be either All time Low, A rocket to the Moon, or The Scenic.
Allstar Weekend is up there too, though.
