Saito wandered the ruins of Sector 5, watching his step. He'd never been to this part of Midgar before so he'd need to be careful. Hopefully no wild monsters were roaming about to bother him as he silently walked, not really going anywhere in particular. Here and there a piece of rubble would catch his eye, and he'd check it out. Naturally he found nothing despite all his searching aside from some loose amounts of gil buried inside.
That's when he got down to the bottom of the pit, and found a church. A single church, which seemed to have stood against all the destruction, aside from itself being worn out. Wanting to satisfy his curiosity he pushed open the two large doors. The church was a bit of a mess, tables and other various things laying around the place. Still, there may just be something worth finding which he noted at seeing flowers in the center. He walked toward them and simply stared, taking in their beauty.

Alexander sat there; front row, right side, upon one of the more stable pews that were lined in ranks along the interior of this old church. Seito would not see him upon walking in due to a pillar that obstructed his view upon first entry and the simple fact that Alexander was leaning forward, his elbows resting atop his knees with his hands clasped together. With eyes closed and head hung low, he whispered soft prayers to a God whom all seemed to have forgotten.
"Father...," his voice was barely audible. Seito would perhaps only come to know of Alexander's presence from the distance he was at., "You alone have brought me this far.. do not let me slip away from your sight.. but deliver me from all that strives to take me away.. from all that strives to take me away from the kingdom.. to take me away from You."
His whispering ceased.
There was a strong silence that seemed near tangible in the sheer serenity of this place. Alexander simply sat there in the same position as calm and complacent as ever. It was as if peace permeated forth from his being and though he was well aware of Seito's presence, he did not budge. Was he in meditation?
