- Character Name: Jezebel Nicole Enberg
- Character Age: 21
- Character Gender: Female
- Character Race: Human - Caucasian
- Character Class: Red Mage - Reality Hacker
Reality Hacker
- Intelligence based warrior who is capable of creating various phenomena through mathematics with the use of a calculation projection tool (computer, enchanted abacus, etc.). Given the right calculations, Reality Hackers can create anything from heavy rainfall to a temporary suspension of gravity. The possibilities are unknown, endless and extremely dangerous as space and time are easily manipulative to the Hacker. Physically weak or average in strength. Firearms or light melee weapons are preferred. Not ideal for close range or hand-to-hand combat.
Class Skill
- Cure: The most simple and basic skill that all White Mages are able to use is the Cure spell, the lowest in a ranking of healing spells that will cure any minor ailment of injury.
Character Skills/Spells:
- Stealth - Bending the light around her, Jezebel is capable of rendering her body to near 100% invisibility. This effect lasts about thirty seconds (3 turns).
- Haste - Enberg is capable of dramatically increasing performance speed by creating a temporal loop around her target in which she is capable of manipulating it's speed but still bound to the laws of the universe. Once the target is within the loop, Enberg increases performance speed by "skipping," small amounts of sequential time frames that occur between the starting point and the end result. (3 turns)
- Slow - Creating a temporal loop around herself, Enberg is capable of slowing environmental time for a short period (3 turns) but rendering herself unaffected thus allowing her to escape a desperate situation easily or perhaps taking advantage of an exposed weakness with ease.
- Skip - Through extremely acute calculations, Jezebel creates a Temporal Loop along the course of her bullets, as well as the bullets themselves, and causes several skips to occur between the bullet and the target allowing the projectile to reach it's destination instantaneously.
- Demi - Manipulating the field of gravity around a single enemy, Jezebel greatly magnifies the intensity of the gravitational forces her enemy is subject to resulting in an all around pressure that encompasses her target and eventually implodes on itself, "crushing," the body as if between two colliding walls. Though this does not kill the target, it serves to invoke a temporary (1 post) paralysis and it greatly drains the targets energy and endurance.
Character Weapons
- KEC Enhanced MP5 9mm Submachine Gun - Standard Firearm
- M1911 Handgun - Secondary firearm
- MK3A2 Adjustable Concussion Grenades - Timed, Proximity, and Impact.
Character Appearance
- Height: 5'5"
- Weight: 127lbs
- Eyes: Green
- Hair: Ginger
- Body Type: Athletic/Conditioned
Character Personality
Enberg is extremely protective over her gear and lets nobody else but herself lay hands on it. When her gear is damaged in any way, she is known to "cuss like Cid Highwind," as some observers have mentioned.
Jezebel has a distaste toward physical contact but does warm up to people after (a long) time. Having no relatives or close friends, Jezebel grew accustomed to solitude and embodies an aloof demeanor most of the time. When she does allow others to go beyond the surface she is known to be somewhat controlling and headstrong yet compassionate and just in her judgments.
Though her techno-babble often confuses others, Jezebel is well-liked amongst her peers as she is known to be of a mellow spirit. Generally friendly, she is one who would "walk away," from a bad situation but is more then capable of holding her own should the situation call for her interceding.
She is also claustrophobic and afraid of the dark.
Character History
Home World
- Earth
In her early and teenage years Enberg displayed a towering above average aptitude toward mathematics, logic, and physics. So much so that the Department of Occult and Arcane Investigations and Warfare (DOAIW) took notice and immediately and recruited her into the Omega unit of RAM (Moniker of Ram, the Demon Slayer), an elite and top-secret task force designed to investigate hostile paranormal activity and eliminate whatever threat it posed while keeping it beneath the public eye. Typically, members recruited into this group were psychics, sorcerers, priests, and the like. Enberg was recruited when she was 17 years old.
At the age of 15, Enberg experimented with cabbalistic mathematics and found a way to "tap," into the fiber of existence. She discovered that under certain circumstances, and with the manipulation of numerical patterns, certain results could be produced. These results varied and were highly dependent on the slightest calculation. The difference between 1 and 2 could either be a destructive force or a protective veil. Regardless of how much she studied, her practice was limited. The technology needed to assist her was out of her grasp.
Once she was recruited by the DOAIW, Enberg was given charge over the reconstruction of an ancient computer system, code named KRYSTA, which was left behind by the Atlantean ascent into the coast of South America. How the organization got hold of such an artifact was unknown to her. After quickly learning the systems code and structure, Enberg discovered that this computer was well beyond current human capability and could only be replicated by the most intricate and precise calculations; Calculations which only she could provide.
Enberg's first replication of the computer was a lightweight and compact micro processor which she grafted into her standard 9mm Mp5 Submachine gun which allowed for more precise accuracy when shooting and more acute maintenance. She also constructed a special visor that displayed a personalized UI and HUD, as well as a full body jump suit that was designed by the DOAIW, and modified by her own self, to withstand and protect against extreme heat, friction, electric shock, electro magnetic pulse, radiation, pressure, and impact. The suit was also designed to enhance human performance during situations that called for adrenal activity and was powered by both the solar rays of the sun, the electro-magnetic forces emitted from the Earth, her own electro magnetic field, and the thermal energy produced from her own body. In one instance, Enberg, being confident of her modifications, attempted to jump off of an 8 story building to test the suit. Upon landing, she found that the suit had sustained minimal to insignificant damage and that the only harm she received was to her nerves at having jumped that high and lived.
Before mass replication of the ancient computer could take place, the research facility she had been stationed in was attacked, raided, and burned to the ground by a faction known as Black-X. The KRYSTA project, save for her suit and equipment, was lost and assumed to have been either stolen or destroyed.
After the incident the KRYSTA project was deemed obsolete.
Enberg, along with RAM, continued to undergo several missions, one of which lead them off the south-eastern coast of North America at 32° 20'N, 64° 45'W. Otherwise known as the Devil's Triangle. Enberg's gear, at that point, began to behave sporadically, as did the controls of the aircraft the RAM team was in. Though the plane began to descend, it never hit the ocean but no communication with Jezebel, or the team, has been established since. The wreckage was never found.
She was 18.

Part I: The Unsolved Mission
"Spectral analysis indicates a small caliber amalgam as well as medium range wavelengths, sir." Jezebel Enberg, 18 years old, stood with her back against the worn out wooden walls of an old Victorian style house exterior. Her team of six others stood in basic standby position nearby as the captain prepared the entry point.
"Sir, I advise we proceed with caution. I'm detecting several electro-magnetic disturbances; I don't think they're happy were here, sir..."
There was a clamor going on inside. The sounds of a sophisticated party and ball room music were heard from the outside.
"Start the uplink. Tank, Enberg, with me. The rest of you, secure the entrance." The captain called out as he advanced to the old wooden door that stood well worn and aged. Slowly, his hand took hold of the old looking and black lever-style door handle.

The day was January, 15th. This old house out in the deep of Louisiana had been reported by several witnesses to be "haunted." I remember it was cold and gloomy. Typical horror movie setting. We've been receiving a lot of these kinds lately but it's never as bad as they make it out to be. Once in a while a Lich would appear but that's nothing out of the norm.

A large and elegant foyer, lit by a large and exaggerated chandelier, held men and women of high class stock and neither of these turned an eye to the team filed in and took position. These people were all dressed in ornate dresses and expensive suits as they danced, mingled, drank, and caroused their time away.
"Analysis," The captain called out lowly.
"Amalgam, sir. Disposal procedures ready. Standing by, sir."

The first time I'd seen something like this I couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't. It didn't take me long to find out that none of these kinds are really "real." At first I was hesitant to shoot them. Those were our orders when it came to these types, after all...
It got easier the more we did it.

"...Fire." The captain ordered.
Immediately, the three fired their weapon at the multitude. Several fell, but those that did not fall yet revealed their true forms. Images of deathly disfigured and mutilated beings screamed and advanced on the team but they were quickly disseminated and disposed.
The aftermath left nothing but bullet holes along the far wall. The elegant atmosphere turned into that of an ancient and well worn Victorian home that had long been abandoned and subject to the effects of time.
"Was that it?" The captain asked arguably and with some obvious confusion.
"Sir... analysis indicates all is normal."
"... Hmm.. why were we sent here?"

He had every right to question the mission. We all did. For all we knew we had just wasted time by coming here and simply getting rid of a group of minor apparitions. HQ told us this mission was top priority and that failure was not an option. There's something else going on.
I'm not sure HQ is telling us the whole story...
